The LPA has the general responsibility to hear, review and make recommendations to the Village Council on proposed amendments to the Village's land development regulations, comprehensive plan, and changes to the official zoning map. The LPA activities include monitoring and overseeing the effectiveness and status of the comprehensive plan and recommend changes as may be required from time to time.
The LPA generally meets the second Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. Meetings are scheduled on alternative dates as required from time to time due to holidays or other conflicts. All interested members of the community are welcome to attend LPA meetings and are encouraged to provide input during public comment.
The meetings, held in the Founders Park Community Center (87000 Overseas Highway), are televised locally on the government Comcast channel and provided to the public via live webcast on the Village website. The Webcast link is found on the right end of the list at the top of the Village home page at www.islamorada.fl.us. After clicking on the Webcast link, the page will offer LIVE broadcast of meetings in progress and ON-DEMAND archived meetings.

We have done business with Judy since 2003 and she has handled multiple transactions as we purchased, sold then purchased again our bit of paradise in the Keys. I would recommend anyone to Judy. Finding our new island home was always a rapid, effective, targeted purchase for a fair price and then was guided through the closing knowing the unique issues of Keys homes.
